About me.
I have a very happy life with my husband and our wonderful dog Maddie, living in Hampshire, Southern England.
My life is what I would call ‘small’ because I am chronically ill, but it has taught me to budget my energy so now I only spend time with people I love and doing things I really enjoy. I appreciate every day and make the most of everything.
I have very few relatives as most are now in spirit. I have an identical twin sister who is 10 minutes older than me and she lives about 10 miles away. Sadly she is disabled having had a brain haemorrage and massive stroke.
I am so thankful for the wonderful friends in my life who share my love of all things spiritual.
My favourite saying:
“Life turns out best for the people who make the best out of the way life turns out”

Been noticing I haven’t seen a post from you in a long time – hope all is well.

Thanks so much for your message. I haven’t been too well for a while now. I’ve been chronically ill for over 18 years and my illness goes through ups and downs but since last July, when I had shingles, I’ve not been so good. The good news is that I am feeling much better than I was six months ago – so it’s onwards and upwards from here!:)

Oops, I’m confusing myself by trying to handle two awards at once. I nominated you for a Sunshine Award, not the Versatile Blogger: http://bluegrassnotes.wordpress.com/2012/03/04/versatile-blogger-award-and-sunshine-award-yeah/

I’m so pleased you did too! Blogging has opened up a whole new world for me, and the technology has made it possible to meet up with like minded souls throughout the world. I really feel we are so very fortunate to be alive at this time – would have been pretty difficult to be in contact even just a few years ago.

Thanks for your encouragement today. I am a fledgling blogger and I’m getting some wonderful ideas from your blog set up. What a pro you are! I’ll enjoy coming back to visit you and reading more~
Thanks so much for popping into my day!
Nov 13, 2011 @ 05:51:22
I had to laugh Rise’, I am not a pro at all. I too am very much a fledgling with all of this. I only went to the library last week and borrowed a book entitled “Blogging for Dummies” so that I could understand the ins and outs of everything. I started this blog almost by ‘accident’ and then had to work out what I was doing!
I am sure many people will enjoy your blog and would like to put a link to it on my blog if you are happy with that.
I look forward to reading more of your blog too!

How gracious of you. I think it would be wonderful to be linked on each others blogs. I suppose that would be easy to do once I look into it. My url: http://guidelights7.wordpress.com
Pls give me your URL also.
It’s ThanksGiving here today. I dont suppose that holiday is observed in the UK. We Americans seem to need a holiday to remind us to practice gratitude.. Grateful I ran into you dear lady~ God Bless

Dear Resa, I asked my husband, Simon, about my URL and he said it was the web address of my blog, which is, I gather http://handinhandwithspirit.com but I think I managed to link your blog on my blog by using a blogroll, which lists the blogs that I am following. I don’t know if your theme has one or these as I gather they are all quite different. Its amazing how we have all managed to get our blogs on the net isn’t it? What with all this technical jargon etc, I often think it’s quite a miracle, but as they say, where there’s a will, there’s a way … on the plus side Simon is an IT Manager, so I am very lucky having a ‘professional’ sitting next to me most of the time!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving day!

You’re such a sweet woman. Yes, you are fortunate to have a husband in IT but I seem to muddle through eventually. Running into helpful folks like you certainly helps!
God Bless~
